This is a really sad story. Police officers are out of control and barged in her home, dehumanizing her. This is very reminiscent of slavery auctioning. They would not treat a white woman this way.

You made an excellent point about Mayor Lori Lightfoot. She needs to take responsibility for the out-of-control police. From what I've seen, she dapples in respectability politics from time to time.

One day, we will win and they will not be able to treat us with blatant disregard. Until then, we will continue to fight.
