This is the good news I needed to hear this morning. They must have been afraid of looking too partisan. Good for them.

Growing up, my mom always told me that it is really difficult to take away benefits through the government. This is why so many conservatives oppose social security but won't strike it.

We just have to keep fighting. Once we get things, it is so hard for them to rip it out of our hands.
