This reminds me of Bob Marley’s song Buffalo Soldier. ❤️

It is believed that the name ‘Buffalo Soldiers’ was coined by the indigenous population. The Indians felt that the wooly hair of black soldiers resembled the curly thick hair of bison or buffalo. Another assumption was the soldiers wearing the buffalo skin coats in winters.
