To say you are not oppressed is to say you will not fight against oppression. Those who do not acknowledge injustices will perpetuate them.

We do have the power to change things but not from declaring victory at the onset. I grew up in a country where people denied the existence of racism for most of my life. For that reason, very little has changed. That's just my thoughts on it.
