Well said. Racist and racism have the same definition, but as you pointed out are different parts of speech.

“America is racist” describes the country, not necessarily individuals.

Yet Tim Scotts claim that “America is not racist” used the claim that not all Americans are racist. See, how he hop, skipped, and jumped away from the main point. That’s why I brought it back down to grammar. No one said all “Americans are racist” rather that the country is “racist.”

Kamala is someone I really respect but this was a let down for sure. Thanks so much for reading.
