When I heard Obama running his mouth, I felt that he is even more separated from us than he thinks. He believes in respectability politics which always treats Black liberation as a side dish, and ass kissing as the main course.

I actually have no problem with defund the police. What I cannot stand is these moderates trying to use progressive Black youth and then try to disrespect the hot button issues we care about. De-fund does not mean abolish, although some like Angela Davis do believe in full abolition. I'm still on the fence but I definitely believe in real structural change.
