While I understand that some Republican states demonstrate a willingness to use green energy, your article leaves out the attacks on science. While many Republicans and Independents agree with the need to use green energy, the strongest opposition to these changes come from Republicans. So, both can be true. Not all are working against the necessary changes but some are. For example, Donald Trump left the Paris Climate Change Agreement. Those who affiliate with the Republican party are therefore accepting that progress may not be driven by Federal policy. Thanks for writing your thought provoking article.
