You are absolutely right. Black women have to be listened to. In many circumstances, the voices of women are put into the background. The death of Breonna Taylor highlighted this for me. People were much more willing to express outrage at the death of black men than black women. Our lives and our voices maatter. Black women are the defenders of the community and should be listened to.
