You nailed it. This dynamic happens all the time. If a Black woman is well-off, they act like she had no right ot obtain her wealth, success, or prestige. There is a sinister implication that we cannot complain about any mistreatment because then we are 'ungrateful.' These people are so racist and cruel and the sad part is, they have no intention of backpeddling. So sorry Meghan had to go through this but I am happy that we are having an international conversation about the ways Black women and WOC get treated. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective.
