Your article described our collective pain. Elijah McClain was young and didn't react the way they wanted him to. But, he was not violent. He apologized time and time again to the officers. It's shameful that we have to give our kids "the talk". I wonder if we will ever live in a country where we aren't treated like a nuissance. Thanks for writing about this important topic.
