Your article was powerful indeed. I also grieve for Black and Brown families who live in fear of law enforcement and are incarcerated by a racist system. Abolition is not hard to understand at all once you appreciate the humanity of those locked up. Jade, you made an excellent argument for abolition. A better world truly is possible.
